This is Santa Catalina Island. Known simply as "Catalina" to locals. It is located off the coast of Southern California (aprox 22 miles) and is actually one of nine channel islands. It is the only one that has a population and it is one of the most quaint, charming and unspoiled places left in Southern California. It's nearest port is Long Beach and as there was no option for Catalina in this website, I chose Long Beach as the location. BIG difference between the two though. If you ever come to Southern California, I highly recommend a visit. [edit text][editors]
