San Jose is a large city with a small town feel. It has been voted as the Country's safest big city.
The down-town core is being revitalized. There is a relatively new Convention center, surrounded by lots of new hotels including a Hyatt, Marriott, Fairmont and Hilton. There is an Improv Comedy Club, a new Camera 12 Cinema and lots of restaurants including PF Chang's and Gordon Biersch.
Downtown is also home to the Children's Discovery Museum, an IMAX theater, and the Tech Museum of Innovation. The HP Pavilion hosts concerts, hockey, and much more. San Pedro Square has a Friday farmer's market.
World-class shopping can be found at Valley Fair Mall, with the new and ultra chic Santana Row directly across the street - shopping can't be more convenient!
Also worthy of your time is the Winchester Mystery House and the Rosicrucian Museum - like walking into Egypt's Valley of the Kings.
