Travel Security Update
In order to ensure the safety and security of airline passengers, new security measures have been implemented at all U.S. airports.
The screening traditionally conducted at departure gates now takes place at the main security checkpoints.
This means you need this if you travel by ship, air, drive or walk across the U.S. border.
At security checkpoint will be required to have a Boadinng Pass and a government-issued photo I.D. & a passport.
Use Web Check-In. Arrive at the airport up to two hours prior to your flight departure more
Buddy Guys Legends
If you visit Chicago, you have to feel the blues! This club is one of the best opportunities to do that. If you're lucky, you'll experience the 'big boss', member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, himself! more
Toast Cafe
Great choice for breakfast, friendly neighborhood service more
Gino's East
If you are in Chicago, this is the home of Deep dish pizza. Personally, I like regular pizza better, but this place is one of chicago's must-see icons. The walls are covered with pictures from movie and sports stars, as well as autographs of normal people the world over. more
Marché
A fantastic new French place which opened in mid-2004. A bistro-like setup on the inside with five-star service and an impressive menu of classic French cuisine. The patio outside featured very authentic Parisian-style cane bistro chairs and looked very inviting.
We ordered appetizers of foie gras (excellent), and although they did not have any Sauternes on the menu, the waiter did recommend a Muscat that paired very well.
Sign up for their e-mail list, they often have specials in association with other places (Sam's Wine, the Lyric Opera, etc.) which make for a great weekend trip to Chicago. more
