Honolulu is a really cool place to hang out, on Waikiki Beach you can enjoy the beach life including the nations favourite pass time, surfing; but the nightlife is also great too. Along Kuhio Avenue there are many clubs and bars.
Honolulu has many sights that is worth viewing: Diamond Head Crater, Pearl Harbour, Swap Meet (weekend flea market for tourist trinkets), The National Memorial Cemetery, Iolani Palace (the only royal palace in the U.S.), and Bishop Museum. About an hour drive from Honolulu is the Polynesian Cultural Centre which shouldn’t be missed as they also do a great luau and further still is North Shores where all the big waves are found and you can watch or surf (if you are experienced) the pipelines.
