Maine Discovery Museum 
This museum is mainly for children from 1 to 12 yrs old. They are very educational with their many science, music, art. literature and many more exhibits. They are open Tue-Sat 0930-1700 and Sun 1200-1700. They are closed on Monday. Admission is 6$ per persons. more

Little Lad's Bakery, Cafe and Restaurant 
They are open Mon-Thu 9AM-7PM and Fri from 9AM-3PM Sat and Sun Closed.The are the only strick Vegetarian restaurant in Bangor. Their menu is rich in different yummy choices, all at an affordable price too. From Great soups to Mexican dishes, salads, sandwiches and deserts they have it all. You must absolutely try the yam & pineapples dish and the strawberry & waffle cake. It is a family owned restaurant, and the service is unbeatable. more

Seadog Brwing Co. 
This pub is situated on the Water Front, in an renovated train building. There's a nice small park and many train tracks (I don't know if they are abandoned or not) around. I believe that they are still working on making the waterfront a tourist attraction, but there is still work to do. The Pub offers pub food and beverages, it is a family restaurant in the afternoon. more

Best Western, White House Inn 
The room was large and clean. The Inn is situated by a truck stop, and a highway, yet it is very quiet. The staff is courteous and friendly. There is ample parking space available. There is free internet access by the check-in desk. A continental breakfast is available. There are many memorabilia of the White House and the different Americain president to be see in the halls and also in the lobby. The Inn is situated about a 10 min drive from the airport, and about a 15min drive from downtown. more

DOWNEAST COINS AND COLLECTIBLES 
Here you'll find many foreign coins but also coin collector accessories. The owner is friendly and knows the local history, if you have the time for a friendly chat. They also deal with sports cards and many small interesting antiques and jewelry. more
