Las Vegas is in Nevada in the SW United States. This city is entirely one-of-a-kind. Everywhere you go, you are surrounded by gambling. In the airport, restaurants, shopping centers, and of course, in the massive casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. In all my travels, I’ve never been to a city where day is night and night is day. You can do just about anything your little heart desires 24 hours a day in Vegas.
The casinos on the Strip are magnificent! Some of the most notable are the Egyptian styled Luxor, the Treasure Island (with its lagoon and pirate battle), the Paris (with its own Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe), the Venetian (complete with canals), and the child themed Circus Circus. In all, there are about 2 dozen of the biggest hotel/casinos on Earth here. [edit text][editors]
