The city of North Hero is on Lake Champlain on Grand Isle shared with South Hero in the south. It was originally given to Ethan (Hey! That’s my name) Allen, that Revolutionary War hero, Samuel Herrick, and other war veterans. The city, back then, was called Two Heroes. In 1798, they split Two Heroes into North Hero and South Hero, also splitting the island in half. It is the summer home to the Royal Lippizzaner Stallions and North Hero State Park. In North Hero State Park, you can go camping or do any lake activities. It costs money to camp here but seeing all the wildlife around you might just worth it. [edit text]  [editors]
