Yes indeed, there are often good weather conditions - I made my licence for hang-gliders in St. Hilaire, not far away from Annecy. St. Hilaire is also famous for it's masquerade-contest in october.

I just saw your Annecy-Pictures - I like the one with the hang-glider. Are you a pilot yourself? Annecy is a great region for such kinds of sport....

These are smashing, Filip. Let me be cheeky and draw your attention to the fact that there's not a single travel report on Northern Ireland on the site yet.
I,ve only been to Belfast once for a few hours during the troubles - I keep thinking of spending more time there. It's so cheap to fly from Leeds.
