Rajasthan

Alexandre,
Thank so much for the information! I have followed up on some of your suggestions. We have two weeks, so we are going to: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udiapur, Jodpur, Jaisalmer then back to Jodpur and on to Ajanta/Ellora. It is a lot to fit in, but we have hired a driver. Thanks for the warnings on the roads! We are saying in a couple of havelis - I think it is worth the extra $$ just to have the experience!

Rajastan

Alexandre,
Sorry I got confused with the houseboat photo! Didn't pay enough attention :-) As it stands right now, we are looking at spending most of our time in Rajastan, with maybe two days in Agra and two in the Ellora/Ajanta caves. Do you have suggestions about which towns in Rajastan we might consider?

Thanks!
Eire

Thanks-and a question for you

Alexandre,
You are too kind - thank you!

I was looking at several of your photos and noticed the House Boat picture in India. My daughter and I are considering a trip to India next summer. Several of the things we have looked at refer to house boat stays. Do you know if this is the type of boat they are referring to?

Thanks!

I have enjoyed your Sydney pictures - especially the sunset photo.

Thanks!

PS Thanks for your kind comments on my Tikal Report - the wild life was almost as fasinating as the ruins!

Hello, that was just the house bulit 600years ago by the villagers

Round buildings are the house built by the ancestor of the local villagers, who immigrated here 600years ago and had to fight with the local people. Therefor, they bulit these round houses, which are really huge, in which there are over 100 persons, who belong to the same family, living inside the tower(i call them towers).

Hello Alexandre

Thank you for your kinds words about my Puerto Vallarta report. It was wonderful trip, in the best of company! The surroundings were beautiful. The dolphins were very cool. The baby turtles were amazing. Best though was going with my 11 year old on his first scuba dive and watch his eyes as he saw the underwater world for the first time. To share something I love with someone I love. There is nothing better!

Taiwan

Alexandre,
Although it may be years off, I look forward to traveling to Taiwan and Asia.

Thank you for your comment - I always worry tha I am sometimes too personal in my writing, but to me travel is a personal experience. The things that are most memorable are always those that touch us deeply.
