Standing in front of one of the huge Giants!'s by andreas

Sequoia National Park - United States, California Sequoia National Park has some of the oldes and biggest trees on earth! That's me infront of such a giant. Not even I am so high as they are :-) The gunny thing is, I slept in the dessert the just the day before (Death Valley) and now look at the tempearture! California land of extremes!

bineba - Nov, 13 2007 12:11pm Had a similar experience there a few years back. Picked up oranges from a stall by the road on the way there and had a snowball fight when we arrived. I think we went there in March. zrusseff - Nov, 13 2007 09:11pm One of my favorite places is the Sequoia National Park - and the redwood forest of northern California. It is so beautiful with the carpet of red bark covering the ground of the forest. Did you visit the minature redwood forest? It is like a fairy tale. Great shot!
