Bonnieux - France, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur Taken from Bonnieux, this is the classic Tour de France climb. With its bleached white limestone summit with no shade or shelter from the Mistral its a harsh bike climb. Halfway is the poignant memorial to Tommy Simpson , a UK rider who died on his bike here during the Tour de France
