Hey Marcel,

Your journey was much more extensive than mine, but it was great looking at your pictures. Isn't it a mind blowing experience? I just love southern African, with the differnt extremes.

Just curious of whether you have just completed an over land journey through Southern Africa? I did it a few years ago and you pictures have brought back memories.

I am planning on taking a trip out to the Alps area in February and I was thinking of doing a short 3 to 4 day backpacking trip. I figure that all of the trails in the high Alps will be closed for the season, but if I head north or south a bit, I may be able to find something. Do you have any advice on where to go?
If you have any information on good locations to snowboard or what towns to visit, that would help me out alot too. Thanks.
