Very unusually I am putting up something I've not seen but it could be of interest to annybody going near Merseyside and it won't be there for ever.
Crosby Beach is just north of Bootle. An exhibition is being mounted there that has already been shown in Belgium, Norway and germany , designed by Antony Gormley who was/is responsible for the plans of the Angel of the North at gateshead. This exhibition, called 'Another Place' is destined to go to New York. It consists of 100 lifesized figures in iron who wll look to sea. The moulds are based on the artist's own body.
It's extremely controversial but has to be worth seeing.
