The Hotel la Pineta consists of rooms in a number of separate buildings clustered around Reception and the restaurant at different levels. From ours to the road took about 50 stone steps and it was about 37 to the central buildings (included in the 50.)
Really that's more than I should be doing but the compensation is an almost outrageously beautiful view to the sea far, far below. The cold, which is obviously regular at that height is well alleviated by heating in the en-suite bathroom a well as in the sleeping area.
