This large and rather ornate building comes as something of a surprise in Eckero. Not only is it a tiny place, situated in the north of the Åland main island, but it has three separate bits with nothing between them, this, the ferry terminal for the Eckerö Line [the shortest crossing from Sweden] and the Hunting and Fishing Museum, which is by the old harbour.
The history of the post exhibited in one of the rooms is fascinating.
