Here are the changes: - Member profile picture size doubled - Statistics separated from member information - Modular Box layout - Real name of the member becomes more important - Bugfixes in modify accounts - Member profile pictures can now be as big as 8MB before upload. - Friendsboxes - Reportboxes - New info box - Info if profile is not filled out to 100% - Activity index which shows how active the member was so far - New sign up button on the left - New header which is replacing the strong yellow color and integrates better with the site. - Interests now in rows instead of columns. - Languages now in rows instead of columns - Member profile pictures have now unique names, which will force the browser always to display the newest picture you uploaded. The new layout will allow to add new boxes over time. Gallery boxes etc. The pioneer icon of the first few members of GLOBO is currently not visible, but will return as soon as the awards box is ready. Have fun! I would rather like to keep the exact activity index calculation a secret. As you might imagine it is a combination from GLOBO time, points, logins and more. The goal is to create a bar that represents a true image of how active a member is. So far I believe it is quite representative, there will be some updates of the algorithm in the future to adjust the meter. From looking at various profiles I believe it fits quite well so far. The number of friends seems to be always 1. :-) The new activity index is a good measure. The color for the bar "home guides ...." could be more intense. I am not sure about the color, the intense color was an issue, too. Maybe this is just because you are used to the old strong color. Let's see how that goes, I would like to stick with that color for a few weeks before considering changing it. So please do not wonder if your index jumps around a bit within the next days. I like the new layout of the Member Pages, specially that random pictures and reports show up there, revives a lot of good old stuff and gets me all nostalgic about my archive. Clicking on the mini thumbnail of a members profile picture or on a hyperlinked nickname (like in the who's "Online" field) takes one strait to the new Member Page also showing the enlargement of the pic and details. Well done Andy, i'm excited to see any more improvements!
