Hello everybody,
as you know there is a penalty system in place at GLOBOsapiens. Dubious behaviour or point grabbing leads to penalties in form of subtracting hundreds or even thousands of points from the coresonding member accounts. In adition to that, the penalty is labled inside the activity folder.
As some of you might know we had two such cases in the past five years. I believe it is fair to take points away and even lable that account, however most penalties in live are time limited. Our's havn't so been so far. This is changing now. The points are gone of course, but the red label inside the accounts will disapear automatically after one year. One year is a long time. People change and should get a second chance to build a good reputation without people point fingers at them because of a red lable.
I hope you understand and support that decission.
Best regards,
Andy

Andy,
Did you inform the members in question about the fact that the label has been removed?

@marianne: No I didn't so far. Not sure if I should or leave it to friends of the members as they might find better words than I can. Please let me know if you believe I am wrong.
Best regards,
andy

It may be a good idea if you send them an official note, and friends send a friendly note (I don't mean to say that your note shouldn't be friendly of course).

I think it is better that Andy send the message directly to the members in the words that he has already written.
On the other hand if it is decided that a friend should write the message I think Jorge deserves the honour of carrying out this pleasant task
anyway very well done --- Hugh

Thanks for the suggestion, Hugh. Parallel to this message I will send this evening an email to Singapore informing of this good news.
I am also of the opinion that Andy, independently of this, should send an official message to the members concerned.

This was an important improvement, in spite of the current problem. Jorge - do you have any other email address where you can contact. I am not asking you to disclose it if it's private. --- Grieve not for that which you cannot do but rejoice in that which you can.
