Welcome to GLOBOsapiens and our wide world of travel and adventure. You found the right place to plan your trip, it is never too early, I hope you find travelling companions like I did for South America, travelling alone is dangerous and only for experts (like our members "jorgesanches and others). Consider Nepal and Laos too, though India and Thailand can keep you busy for a while too. I'm too old to join you but will do these areas with a tourist group hopefully one day. Namaste.
