The Fox Theatre is one of the main attractions to go to in Atlanta. It is pretty much the only theater in Atlanta. It was originally built as the Yaarab Temple Shrine Mosque. It had onion-shaped domes and a lavish interior. In the 30s, the money was running out. So the Shriners made a deal with William Fox to make a theater. The theater went through some hard times. But it survived the Great Depression and Atlanta's booming growth. Now it is mainly for viewing movies and on-tour Broadway shows. Now the pricing; the shows are very expensive.
