Ethan, good report on Savannah, GA
Posted: 2007-10-30 06:42 PM
Hi,
I need to update my personal information - I moved to Columbus, GA in May 2007 but I am moving to Savannah on Friday, November 2, 2007.
I went there for the first time last week and I loved it. Since I don't have anything going on here I reckoned I will move there. I will be trying out the New Orlean's restuarant. Hopefully it is still there.
Best regards,
zellah

Hi Ethan,
Good to see you. Are you back from your holiday?
I read your travel tips. Very-well written.
I liked your food description and the explanation for metric users.
Have you got a photo of the Fox theatre? I went to their website but there was no photo of the outside. I 'd like to see the onion shaped domes.

Hi Ethan
I'd been wondering where you were hiding.
I hope you have been travelling and we can have some reports coming.
Cheers

Oceans not in the databank
Posted: 2006-04-12 03:27 PM
For cruises, use the last port departed or the next to be entered, which ever is closer with a note to the fact in the title or description. We do the same for a road or landscape between two cities.
When revizing places in the databank a year ago we added to cities and towns the options of mountains, lakes, beaches, islands. Rivers and Oceans were not added because too many countries (for db allocation) border them!

Your report
Posted: 2006-04-12 07:58 AM
Hi Ethan
I thought your report was prettty good as I said. However I note your own comment. Another time, if you do something late at night, why don't you keep it invisible until you've had the chance to think again.
Then if you do improve it, you will only be rated on the new report.
Very good wishes
David

Worms in Chad
Posted: 2006-04-01 07:01 AM
Hola Ethan
Thanks for commenting my Russian picture.
In Chad and Central African Republic prepare the worms with a chilli so strong that when you eat them your nose inflates and tears start pouring out from your eyes. That dish is called choniyo (more or less is pronounced like that). They also eat black worms, alive, very big and ugly. I could not eat them, and in those countries I always asked for an omelette instead, made with ostrich eggs.

Trees no, Autumn yes
Posted: 2006-03-29 03:14 PM
... hi, "trees" are a bit to general for a travel photographers theme - about one third (9000) of GLOBO pictures have trees in them. I was once thinking of "THEME: Autumn", how about that, with trees in yellow/red/blown? We can prepare to release suitably around August/September? Rudi
