El Mirador Basin Preserve - Guatemala, Petén At the end of day #4, we were treated to a shower! I actually cried tears of joy when I realized what it was! We had been hiking between 24 and 28km a day, but water was so scarce that we couldn't bathe. We camped near a small spring and finally were able to wash up and rinse out clothes!
