Pharohnic Cave in the desert's by eirekay

White Desert - Egypt, Maºrø± This cave is in the middle of the White Desert, miles from the nearest road. There is a small oasis (10 palms trees and a well) close by. We were told that the dwelling was a place for travelers to hold out during sand storms. It is thought to date from 1,000 BC. We didn't get to far inside - we were warned about scorpions.
