Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge, looking from the levy towards north San Jose, Alviso, Sunnyvale, and the Santa Cruz Mountains in the distance. The two light blue rectangular aircraft hangars of Moffett can be seen on the right side of the photo. The historic blimp 'Hangar One' is behind the tow aircraft hangars, and is currently just a framed structure as some restoration work appears to be going on; the USS Macon blimp was formally based at Moffett, though now one can often see a sightseeing flying in and out during the drive along US Hwy 101.
