It sounds like I just missed you last Night Andy,, sorry mate..
Ive tried again this morning and its just the same . I run Norton Anti virus and that seams fine ..also not on Aol dont think...Im out most of today and then he hem out of town for a while Ill get my mate to have a look at this thing while Im gone...

hii andy,
I do facing the same problem ,yesterday(5th oct) i tried to enter the chat room ,but nothing was visible though i could see the pictures of all the memebrs who were online that time.only problem was the text ,it was not visible at all.then i tried to type some thing and send it ,i was able to send the text but again in chat room nothing was visible.
but previously this chat was very fine ..
hope it will be rectified soon.

Dear Andy,seems like it I still have chat problem; I have ben trying to chat with Ravi,and everytime i go to his acc. and press for the invitation for a chat,that chat mode sends me to compleatly different acc: www.globosapians.net/indolady

Hello,
I just wanted you guys to know that I found out what the chat problem is causing.
There are 2 possible reasons.
1.) You are using a strange browser, like AOL, or BT Browser
2.) Most likeley you are behind a firewall. A lot of companies protect their intranets by blocking all ports except of 80 which is for browsing the internet. Chat however workes on a different port. So if you are behind such a firewall you will not see anything inside the chat, just a white screen with the users on the right site.
We are working on a solution on that, however this is not GLOBO specific but effects almost any chat software on the market. Lets see if we find a way around this anyhow.

I did it I did it yahoooooooooooo!!!!!! I tiried all the stuff I could think of and then I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and hey presto ..bobs yer uncle and fannies yer aunt I can chat again .....that took me so long to figure out but now I have ..theres no bugger on line... Andreas I tried Msn browsers and evesham and they dont work either!!!

Hey ned,
so you are saying that it works with firefox, but not with Microsoft Internet Explorer on your pc? Thats very strange. Could you find out the version for me (click inside the IE menu on the question mark and there is an about menu point. A version number like 6.00.00018 is what I am looking for). This could help me to fix it.

well ravi.. the funny thing is, that there has nothing been changed on the chat since last friday?! So it is now working on the same computer with the same browser?? hmmm that is strange.
