Vanilla can be the new "green gold", as it is quiet expensive for the really good plants, it very difficult for the plant to reproduce.

I've bought Vanilla in Mexico and even there, (where they grow it), and it cost a fortune.

Isabelle, I never saw the plant or a picture of it before. Thanks for a hot tip, will plant a lot (also pepper) on my retirement farm in tropics!

Yes, Reunion is well famous for its Vanilla as well as Mauritius. The plant is pick up from May to November
