At the risk of beating a dead horse, or at least one that has already been beaten to within inches of his life, I want to resurrect this discussion.
We have a wonderful problem: lots of photos being uploaded. We upload them for the appreciate of other travels and not for ratings, but don't we all want to think that at least one other person has taken the time to look? Today there are 73 pictures. While I rated about 25 of those, I don't have the time to rate more. I looked, and a number have yet to be rated. I've raised this issue before and self-impose a limit of 5-6 a day. I find that doing so forces me to look more closely at what I am posting.
I don't want to discourage anyone, especially a newer member, from posting, but I would like to see some sort of self imposed "Code of Conduct" amongst the longer term contributors that limits us to half a dozen or so well chosen pics a day. Of course there will be exceptions, but we need to avoid having a new member, as is the case today (I rated his four pictures, but was the first on 3 of them, and they were posted late yesterday) go with photos unrated. --- Life is not measured by the breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away.
