Tristan Island Settlement - St. Helena , shows, singers, pretty waitresses…. No. It was an ordinary fishing boat, eating ordinary food (every day there was only meat, canned meat, three times a day meat, and no fish at all except one time, when we ate lobster) and sleeping in an ordinary communal cabin, in an ordinary bed, with ordinary shared toilets in an ordinary corridor. But, in spite of all the discomforts and bad weather conditions, it was an authentic journey! I felt that I was emulating the great travellers of the XIX century.
