Ubeda - Spain Úbeda and Baeza (province of Jaén) have recently been accepted in the UNESCO Patrimonies of the Humankind, very deservedly owing to their richness in old fantastic jewels in architecture. The picture features the Hospital de Santiago, in Úbeda, constructed during the XVI century. Inside there are precious frescoes, murals, a Pantheon, a Palace, a Church beautifully decorated, a gracious central patio with a fountain… and many other wonders. It is considered the Escorial of Andalucia.
