Arrival by boat to Spain's by jorgesanchez

Barcelona - Spain After 18 hours of pleasant navigation from Civitavecchia, I reached my home in Hospitalet (Barcelona), in Spain. On the left side of the picture you have the Maritime museum with a replica of the captain ship that won the battle of Lepanto in 1571 to the Turks (our Miguel de Cervantes, as a soldier, lost his left arm). In front we have the Customs, and the monument in the centre of the picture, 51 metres tall, is Christopher’s Columbus, who came to Barcelona to meet our Catholic Kings (Isabel and Fernando) after his first epic journey to America.
