Nakhichevan' - Azerbaijan, Naxç©van I did not know it was a Chess Club, because in the sign there are musicians playing traditional instruments. I read the word “Turizm” and thought that it was a restaurant with live music for the tourists. But inside I only met pensioners playing chess and drinking chai (tea). They told me that the place used to be an Intourist restaurant in Soviet Union times, where the tourists from different countries came to eat eastern food and, at the same time, listening Azerbaijan melodies interpreted by local musicians. But now they organize these dinners with music only in the expensive Hotel Tabriz.
