Novi Sad - Serbia I have always regretted the decomposition of Yugoslavia.
After Novi Sad I travelled to a dervish tekke near Mostar, which took me one day and a half (with only a short visit to Brcko District) in several buses and one train, owing to the many borders that during Yugoslavian times did not exist. Now I was in Serbia, then my passport was stamped in Croatia. After ten more minutes there was another border entering again in Serbia, with the consequently new stamp on my passport. Some time later I reached the Republic of Srpska, and finally I saw the sign: Welcome to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
That short journey to Mostar was a true geographical rigmarole.
