Vitoria-Gasteiz - Spain White Virgin Square, the heart of Vitoria, in the old quarter. The monument in the centre of the square is devoted to a battle against Napoleon in 1813, won by our soldiers with the help of the Duke of Wellington. Napoleon troops, while returning to France, robbed tons of our treasures, pilfering churches and museums and they took all these valuables to France. The do not want to give them back to us.
