Chicago - United States, Illinois People in Chicago love very much this Water Tower, which survived the Great Chicago Fire, occurred during 1871, burning most of the downtown, destroying 17.000 buildings, killing 250 people and leaving without home over 100.000. Today it is a symbol, represents the city recovering from the fire, like a Phoenix from the ashes. It is located along the Magnificent Mile.
