This is the oldest restaurant in Barcelona, founded in 1786 (older then Los Caracoles), and the second in Spain after Sobrinos de Botin in Madrid, which is record Guinnness in the world for the oldest continuously open restaurant in the world. Although they will not give you a certificate as in Sobrinos de Botin, having dinner in this restaurant is something to remember for a long time. It is located near the Ramblas, in a lane between Plaza Real and Plaza del Pino. The atmosphere is charming. Please, do not go alone, but bring somebody that you love. Not only the dishes are original and delicious, but the prices are affordable by every pocket.
