This is a unique and very original theatre.
There are many thousands of gypsies living in Moscow, usually selling products in the markets, and this theatre has become a place of gathering. I went a Sunday and the colourful costumes of the gypsies’ ladies were fantastic!
I saw a show and like it very much. It was about the history of the Indian people belonging to the lowest caste that under the leadership of a Patriarch decided daringly to move westwards, until Europe, to try to integrate with the local people in the countries established, but without loosing their idiosyncrasy. I loved it!
Apart from the show that I saw, in that theatre there are concerts performed always by gypsies.
