ITU (International Telecommunications Union) is a very interesting buildings complex in downtown Geneva, integrated in the United Nations Organization, that I visited by suggestion of a friend of mine in Barcelona, who is a radio Ham aficionado. I arrived there walking (about ten minutes) from the Geneva central railway station.
The staffs are extremely friendly; they showed me around the buildings premises and gave me several postcards and brochures in Spanish (one of their six international languages together with Arabic, Chinese, French, English and Russian) as gifts, explaining me the importance of this organization in the world.
Radio Ham enthusiasts have their centre there.
