No visit to Russia is complete without experiencing the Russian “banya” (Russian sui generis sauna).
Sunduny is the most celebrated banya in Moscow. It dates from the XVIII century and its interior is decorated with pretty white marbles; it looks like a palace. There are even restaurants and a beauty salon.
You can hire by yourself or your group, per hours, a room with the vapour room, two swimming pools and a table to drink beer and eat Russian kalbasa. There are also communal rooms. Men and women are separated.
