Welcome. Whereas one of the great features of this site is its truly international membership, it's always good to see another brit.
Don't hesitate to wade straight in - photos or travel tips may make the easiest start but reports from new members are always particularly welcome.
If you click on your home town on your 'about me page, you will find a destination report written by me. On re-reading it I can see that you might well find the first sentence pretty offensive. Don't feel any reluctance to alter the whole thing beyond recognition. I should be happy to defer to a local!
Just ask in the forum if there's anything about the site you want to know. It's a friendly community and you can depend on getting an answer - or if you prefer, send it to me.
One general point - guestbook postings like this are public. If you ever want to communicate privately with anybody, use the 'contact' button.
