One of the many madrassahs in old Khiva, near Tosh Darvoza gate, complete with Islam Khoja Minaret. It is converted into a museum, and the minaret can be climbed. It is a difficult and hazardous climb in an unlit tower on slippery and very narrow stairs, but the view over the old town is spectacular. There is additional 1,000 sumy fee for the climb. The Islamic school is classic.
