Slovenska Pivnica - national restaurant, located in the Old Town, in a deep cellar. Focusing on national dishes, it served chicken, pork, beef, trout and game in a combination of dishes. The menu was short and easy to choose from. Each type of meat or flesh was offered in three dishes, all of which were photographed. Their mulled wine (both white and red) was a bliss in cold weather. Their garlic soup served inside round rustic bread (instead of a plate) was creamy, if a little sour for my liking. But their chicken breast in creamy blue cheese sauce served with a few fries and some rice and cabbage, sweet peppers and tomatoes was succulent and yummy.
