PAROS!
Posted: 2007-06-24 11:44 PM
I was working at the cyclades islands for 2 years so I have a few information to give you. When you're in Paros go eat at Papadakis(Christos) at the little square at Naousa. For greeks, this is one of the island's best eating places.A bit expensive though, but it's worth it!Naousa is also the most picturesque village of the island.Paroikia, is the port and therefore it's noisy and crowded! Its church Panagia Ekatontapiliani is worth seing. If you have the chance, take the little boat from Pounta to Antiparos. It's a little and quiet island that is very picturesque! I hope you enjoy your stay there!

my deep love for Finland
Posted: 2006-06-08 04:09 AM
Hello! I loved your Oulu pics, but first of all I want you to know that I LOVE your country even though I have never seen it. Strange, isnt it? :) Also as far as I know our cultures have so many things in common. Fortunately I have a friend living in Kotka. Next summer I plan to visit him. Please keep posting pictures of Finland
Take care!

Hello Yvey

That's ok, sometimes things seem to slip, but I'm glad things are alright.
I live in London and work between there and Brighton, so I'm fairly familar with Croydon. If you get a chance you must come back, especially during the summer, it's the best time to be here.

Oulu.

Hi Yvey
I really enjoyed your photos of Oulu. I see now they were taken in February. I'm surprised that you have so much light at that time of year so far north.
I see you have done one picture of Manchester. It is only about 28 km from where I live!
I see that we have nothing in writing on Oulo; no report, no tips and not even a destination guide. if you click on the name on your' about me' page you will see one of your photos but with nothing in writing. that is where you could do a destination guide of between 100 and 1000 characters.
I am sure that others too would welcome some information on that area.
Cheers
David
