Ardla Bed & Breakfast has very comfortable rooms, and all are ensuite. We had a twin room which had one single bed and one double bed. The beds take up most of the space and therefore there is little room to move about. It is a very sunny room because of its wide window. Breakfast is served from 8 am, and consists of a full Irish breakfast.
Gratton Court is a cul-the-sac and therefore very quiet. There is ample space to park a car. It is in the Claddagh district, 30-min walk from the train and bus station.
We booked through the Tourist Office near the train station. They charge €4 booking fee. In July and August this is a good thing to do as many hotels and B&B's will be booked. Father Griffin Road has lots of B&B's and in June most of them had vacancies.
The advantage of booking through the Tourist officed is that the only recommend approved B&B's for which standards apply. This way you are sure that the accommodation is up to standard.
