NAI is the Netherlands Architect Institute is not only a museum but also a cultural institute. It has one of the largest collections about architecture in the world. Eighteen kilometres of shelves containing drawings, sketches, models, photographs, books, journals and other materials. The whole collection is open to the public.
The NAI organises some twenty exhibitions per year about. Themes vary from urban design, interior design and landscape
The permanent exhibition "Living in the Lowlands" shows drawings, models and photographs of life in the netherlands. It shows what domestic life was like in the netherlands during the past 150 years.
