I often got upset here at GLOBO because of others thinking entirely different to me and often I was out of line myself too. I feel that everyone should find a country they can be truelly proud of, although I as a trotter have not yet, but I now respect the choice of others. I agree that bad comments can create a lot of ill-feeling and from politicians even start wars! We all make terrible mistakes. Even the Pope, I thought he was perfect, made a bad comment about Islam that he had to take back. It is hard to reverse hatred, we should all be careful what we say and write. Definitely I won't be a member tomorrow, but it won't change the truth, first think about 700 thousand of killed civilian people in Iraq while you are celebrating your new year at your warm houses... I hope new year bring US and UK disasters, deaths, all the troubles, God can see everything, I am sure... We are simple travellers and victims here too, not politicians, please choose another forum like at CNN, BBC, AJ or the UN or AL. Your and now my account might be frozen or deleted. Unless about HISTORY (not the future of Bush yet) religious and political comments are usually “taboo” at GLOBOsapiens. Like Tara, (“wonderer”) I am not in a "warm" house either, I helped my family flee RSA and resettle, I save a bit to travel and therefore have no luxuries. My wealth is the knowledge and experience of the cosmos, will also do "nothing" special for the New Year, I have no job and must soon submit personal bankruptcy, my wife has left me and I have serious problems with my heart, Bush is not my president either but I am worried for him and the USA. I hope for better news next! R'Rudi Added: the death sentence has been abolished in most countries of the world, I hope in the middle East soon. Also places of high criminality including massive rape, infection and murder of mainly women and young children, even babies like in South Africa and the Philippines recently. Criminals should suffer and die slowly, God will help them if they are worthy. I am against the "death penalty" but strongly for a harsh "GULAG" type isolation of prisoners who should create there own economy and laws on an island or some remote place.
