Similar to Andreas post, I thought it would be fun to find out people's favourite places they have visited and where they would like to go.
My three are:
1. Grand Canyon, USA - only God could have created such wonders
2. Sydney, Australia - the warm weather and being so far from home
3. Luxor, Egypt - because I was treated as a Nubian princess
Places I would like to go:
1. Namibia to see the sand dunes and go on safari
2. India to see the Taj Mahal, and
3. Moscow to see Red Square or maybe Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat

Hard to choose as there are so many.....but at this point in time
1. Machu Picchu
2. Rio de Janeiro
3. Italy - can't decide between Rome or Florence
I am tossing up between the following three places for my next trip:
1. India - golden triangle of Agra's Taj Mahal, Jaipur with the red fort & Varanasi
2. China - Hong Kong and the great wall, hidden warriors and so on
3. Vietnam & Cambodia
That's this week, by next week it could be a totally different part of the world!!!
It's great to be a dreamer.
Cheers,
Kerrie

What a wonderful idea for a discussion! Here is my list.
Top 3 places that I have traveled:
1. Isla de Margarita (Venezuela) - I was treated as royalty. This island is rich in heritage, in resources (pearls), and is a wonderful base for trips to the rain forests, to Angel Falls, and other travel destinations.
2. Macchu Pichu (Peru) - One of the most scenic and awe-inspiring areas that I have ever seen.
3. Banff (Alberta, Canada) - beautiful mountain scenery and a relaxed setting.
Top 3 places that I wish to visit:
1. Nepal/Mount Everest
2. Iguassu Falls (Argentina/Brazil)
3. Costa Rica (Volcan Arenal and the Cloud Fotests)

The top 3 places I've visited;
1. The Great Wall of China
2. Mesa Verde National Park (Colorado, USA)
3. Canadian Rockies
The top 3 I'd like to visit are;
1. Normandy beaches (D-Day)
2. Angkor Wat in Cambodia
3. The Pyramids in Egpyt (and/or Crac du Chevalier Castle in Syria)
Like Martin, I'd also love to go up into space. Seeing as I do not have $20 million like Dennis Tito, I guess that'll have to wait.

'Just for fun'
I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to this topic.
I found it very interesting to see people's views on countries they have travelled to and place they would like to still visit.
Cheers
