Im normally a super active chap, I work as a freelance outdoor education instructor doing activities all over Europe. BUT Ive had a climbing accident and Im stuck in a wheelchair for, well I dont know how long. So I could really do with someone to chat with dont care whereya from whatya do just please get in touch and I promise to reply as soon as I can. I love travelling and WAS on my way to Australia for a year so anybody that way round Id love to hear from. First person to write to me gets a free BEER/wine/shot!!! or all three if that takes yer fancy!! Hope to here from someone soon, later. Don't get me wrong I really like to pen pal with someone. I was going for a week to Caracas Venezuela, but my Bosses desided it was great to mess it up for me so I'm stuck too. Maybe next year I'll go the The Netherlands. I used to live in Holland neer Tilburg in Brabant. Whereabouts are you going ? Its a shame Venazuala fell through. So you lived in Tillburg, I do have a friend who had lived there for 2 years long time ago, see he went to school to finish his degree there. Tillburg is mostly for college go-ers, isn't it? Or do they have nice spots, can you give me some advice? Places I would like to visit sometime are, Venezuela, India, Egypt, New Zealand, England, Italy. Just outside Tilburg is a cool little place called Drimele (or something) and you can get on boats and go round the Bis Boss, (I feel a warning may be in order, Im dyslexic and spelling corectly in English is hard enough never mind Dutch so please excuse the spelling.) But get out of the Big cities get on a bike and get in the country ,theres nothing like a pleasent bike ride down the side of the canal stopping off for en Brodje Harring en en Lekker Leffe. I loved the time I spent in the Nederlands and the people are so genuine, if not a little eager to speak English to you , slightly frustrating if you are trying to learn there taal. It'll sound strange to you, but I'll find interesting seeing other panoramic views that doesn't include sun, beach, palms, goodies in thight swimsuit, etc... A Venezuelan buddy didn't believe me either till he started living and working here. Aruba is great for vacation. I know cause I do work at visitaruba.com it's a nice place to get infos, though. I do receive tons of mails and tripreports of recent Aruba lovers, they do like the sunsets and its people. But the island is small enough to get to know it in just 2 weeks and that's a stretch. Thanks for your info. I do want to know what I can get most out of my visit there. I know I'm early but preparing yourself beforehand what to do and how is always a plus. If you do have in mind some other points of interest they are very welcome. Are you feeling any better, I mean your leg? I won't get that much trouble speaking the language cause I do know it. I did have to learn the Dutch language, it's our mother language, among English and Spanish in school, beside our native language Papiamento. Others do have to learn languages like French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Chinese mandarin If they like. There are a few other things I thought about Tilburg, the main one is a place called the Eftaling which is like a fantasy theme park go with an open mind and you will have alot of fun. While your in Holland you must go to the Icebahn for a skating session there are Icebahns in most bigish cities the best one I went to was in Eindhoven which is not far on the train either. I f you want to find Hills in holland go to the south Valkenburg has climbing centres and caving set ups and are actually quite fun. Thanks for asking about my legs , I went to physiotherapy today so im a little tired , they say Ill still be another2 months in the wheelchair but Im definatly getting better and will be swimming again soon. Anyway I hope that you are not stuck in the chair for too long and that you get to come to Australia soon because (I guess I am biased) this is a fantastic country and I know that you would love it here.
