Lyon - France, Rhone-Alpes build in 1852 in honour of Virgin Mary who protected the city against a plague epidemy. This basilica is a star attraction during the "Light festival" which takes place on dec 08th, every year and attract millions of visitors from around the world. this pix is dedicated to Basia who visited my city under fog and rain... much nicer under sun!
