Hey guys, welcome to Dave's World.
Globo's a great site, making it easy for people to share valuable travel information - whether they be planning a trip or just want to talk about what they've seen and done.
Come inside and see what I've seen...

dave, you have captured busy-market, kathmandu-life wonderfully. Seeing your image brought back the smells and sounds for me, from a country that i call 'home'. thanksx

Dieng

I'm treating myself to a photo tour of Indonesia. I just saw you photo of the Dieng plateau. I took exactly the same. When I compared the two I noticed that the trees on the hill have disappeared. I was there in 2001. We have (almost) decided to go back to Indonesia next summer.

Thank you for your suggestion

Hello Dave,
I want thank you for a suggestion you made a while ago. It was always difficult to pick the best pictures out of so many an GLOBO. I followed your advice and now it is possible to rate pictures on the fly with a 5 star rating system.
Its great that GLOBOsapiens.net has members who contribute and "shape" the site, like you do.
Two thumbs up for your pictures!
Cheers,
Andy

Nice Nepal pictures
Posted: 2002-10-16 04:36 PM
Hey Dave,
I checked out your Nepal article and admired the photos. I'm now inspired to go to Nepal sometime in the next two years. Now that I live in Hong Kong instead of Canada, Nepal doesn't seem so far away. I'm able to travel a few times each year...usually July, December, February, April, and a long weekend here and there depending on the holidays in Hong Kong. Out of the months I can travel, which times are the best time to visit Nepal? I prefer not to be there at the coldest times. Let me know!
Cheers,
Alice

Hello Dave,
I did just read your reports. They are really helpful. My favourite one is the the Rome travelouge with the top 5 listings.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us and for your active contribution to the GLOBOsapiens.net community!
Cheers,
Andy
