Bon jour,
I see great likeness between this new picture and your photo of the Nerepis River Marsh.
It seems that beauty and drama depend not on the location or the form or even the colour but on how the photographer sees.
thank you

four seaons

hello Vicki,
fortunately we have four seasons in Turkey, in winter you may have cold toes as you said -but not at -30C indeed!.:)-, in spring you may get happy with the opening flowers on the trees, in summer you may swim, and in autumn you may have a nice walk on the fallen leaves!..
with kind regards,
Burak.

Hi Vicki,
Congrats on getting picture of the month. I can feel the
wonderful warm water. I also enjoyed viewing your other pics of the Bahamas (especially the peacock).
I will remember on your pics when we are in Newfoundland in may.
Keep on shooting and have a great day!
Regards, Manfred

Picture needs foreground?
Posted: 2005-03-04 06:44 PM
Thanks for the reply. A picture does not always need a foreground. Your PoM pic invites the viewer to go out there and explore the reefs and sea, to travel, explore and experience... to jump into that cool water!

thank you for your input, vigeland park is a part of Frogner Park, and there are a lot of similar statues near that one, the statues are explaining the human life periods I think, because there are also children, old men and women statues forming a circle, and at the center of this statues circle, there is a statue about 5 meters high, all the bodies of human are mixed, I can upload it also soon
with kind regards,
Burak.

2-in-1 Vicki-Krista!

Congrats on another two awards well deserved. The Nassau show is very funny - like those bubblegum coloured island structures!
I think I rated the Sandals Cay pic only ****, but looking at it closely its a work of art. The focus might seem out slightly but that could be heat waves on the beach or haze over the water, or even a salty breeze. The horizon seems out-of-plain but then looks like a wave, is also well balanced by the wedge of cloud. The palm trees are teathered and battered, I only remember now - due to three cyclones the had last season. The whole key looks like a boat itself heading out to sea. Then that colour blue, the sea a lighter shade than the sky. Magnifique!
