To your balloon pic, we miss it! Perhaps see it again as "Picture-of-the-Year"?

I rated this * by mistake! Its atleast *** but my new hitech wheel mouse done its thing by scrolling up the star list and clicking enter instead of up the webpage and clicking on the picture. Sorry... will get it under control, understand some miss-rating by others now too!

Welcome

James,
I have enjoyed many of your photos and contributions, also. Allow me to send a belated welcome to Globosapiens. Regarding my photos in the Washington area, I spent two years living on Vashon Island. My best friend still resides there and is a well-known artist. He even ran for President of the United States on the Prohibition Party. I will continue to seek your photos and stories. Thanks for noticing.

Dear James
Your images of Goreme are fantastic-above all of them is the image of the Zelve Valley in Cappadocia-Great scenary and exeptional quality.I would only imagine how people lived in all of this caves back then.
Best Regards
Boris

Thanks for your comments. Out of interest some of the students i work with are Tibetan and the houses where i work have both been blesses by His Holiness the Dalai Lama - quite special. We have just celebrated Losar - momos! Yummy!

Hi James,
I loved New Mexico. We did spend some time in Santa Fe, Taos and White Sands, which was fantastic. Check out my album on the South West, which also includes photos of Arizona and Utah - hope it brings back a few memories for you!
All the best
Sabine
